"As construction crews continue to work around the new City Base West shopping center, several stores already are in business and several more are slated to open soon.
The entire project, when complete, will cover a span of more than 47 acres on the corner of Southeast Military Highway and South New Braunfels Avenue.
“There's a whole lot of activity and plenty of demand on the South Side,” said Adam Schiller of GFR Development Services.
Headed by Mark Granados and Schiller, GFR Development also developed City Base Landing, the shopping center on the other side of Southeast Military.
Schiller said that the initial response to the center has far outweighed expectations, and much like City Base Landing did, the center is expected to thrive even more as it grows."
